Product details
This single phase submersible well pump is designed for reliable pumping of irrigation water from wells. It has a stainless steel case, impellers and shaft, with a IP68 water cooled motor. Includes a 15m cable and a low water float switch.
The well pump has a maximum head of 60m (6 bar) so is ideal for deeper wells or where a higher pressure is required at the well head for the irrigation system.
How much water can I extract from a well?
If you have access to a well, you can extract up to 20m3 (20,000 litres) of water per day before you need to apply for an extraction licence. This is plenty of water for most irrigation systems.
As a rough guide, if you work out the area to be watered in m2 and then multiply by 3, this will be how many litres of water you will need on a hot summer’s day. If the water recharge rate of the well is low, you may need to think about whether the water source will cope with this amount of water being extracted each day. It may be that a smaller well pump is used to slowly extract the water from the well into an above ground tank.
For pump installations the capacitor for the submersible well pump is supplied loose and requires wiring up into a control box or pump starter. An optional Pump Capacitor Box is available.
1 year warranty.
