Quality Polythene Pipe Supplier
Different irrigation systems need different widths and levels of pressure in the pipes used, and if one of your pipes springs a leak, you need to know that you can replace it quickly and easily. If you require help to decide which pipe you need, get in touch today.
Medium or High density polythene pipe is used for higher pressure irrigation pipes such as underground pipes or main supply lines to the solenoid valves. The pipe is thick walled, giving it excellent pressure rating and also protection from stones in the trench. The pipe is supplied on coils of 25m, 50m and 100m and is available is pipe diameters of 20mm, 25mm, 32mm, 50mm and 63mm.
Lower density polythene pipe is used for pipes on the surface, such as flower borders. This pipe is more flexible and typically has a 4 bar pressure rating.
Polythene irrigation pipe is coloured black to indicate that it is non potable (not for drinking) and to differentiate it from the blue drinking water pipe.
