Nursery Standpipe Systems are designed to improve the efficiency of nursery or garden centre watering by providing water at a good flow and pressure. They also provide compliance with the Water Regulations.
A pressure booster pump provided a good pressure at a decent flow, allowing watering lances and sprinkler systems to be operated. Faster watering leaves staff tied up watering for shorter periods of time. The water storage tank provides a reservoir of water, allowing the water flow in the irrigation system to exceed the mains water supply. The air gap in the tank also ensures that the irrigation system complies with the Water Regulations regarding back flow.
Watering large numbers of outdoor trees and shrubs in nursery standing out areas is expensive and time consuming. This range of kits from Access Irrigation is designed to make automating the watering easy. Each Nursery Sprinkler Kit will water a large area and can be fitted with an optional irrigation timer to fully automate the nursery watering.
