Hunter MP rotator pop ups offer a breakthrough in watering small landscape areas. MP means ‘Matched precipitation’ – the science of ensuring the same precipitation rate regardless of arc or throw. The Hunter MP Rotator provides all of this in a unit which is precision manufactured and durable.

When using tradition rotors on small landscape projects, sprinklers with a 90 degree arc would have double the precipitation rate of the 180 degree sprinklers (the same amount of water was being added to half the area). This meant that either there would be soggy and dry patches, or the control system would have to be plumbed to operate the 90 degree sprinklers separately from the 180 degree sprinklers.

By contrast, the Hunter MP Rotator pop ups automatically vary the output according to the arc set, matching the precipitation rates. This allows much more freedom in watering smaller, complex shaped lawns. In addition, the fingery spray pattern of the MP rotator ensures that the spray cuts through the wind much better, reducing water losses and ensuring that the sprinklers provide more effective coverage of the lawn.

Unlike rotor spays, which come with a whole set of nozzles, the MP rotator pop ups have the pop up body and the spray head separately. This means some time consideration of the sprinkler layout needs to take place before the order is placed.
